Operations and Traffic Analyst

Our Partner Operations Team is looking for an experienced person to join our team. Our focus is on ensuring operational stability for our partners by quickly identifying and understanding impacting events, driving those issues to resolution, and working with other Technology teams to improve service reliability and customer experience.

What you'll do:
  • Support the production environment through proactive monitoring, identifying anomalies or abnormal trends, and collaborating with development and engineering teams to resolve issues
  • Support incident response on critical applications and infrastructure issues
  • Analyze user experience patterns to understand their business and technology requirements and work with Technology and Product teams to motivate change
  • Perform application log analysis and develop improvements that allow applications to better instrument for availability and performance (uptime, success rate, and user experience)
  • Build custom alerts, dashboards and reports needed for the development, engineering, and operations teams
  • Provide analysis and reporting for major incidents, SLAs, SLIs, SLOs, etc to key partners
  • Support launches of new partners and services


Who you are:
  • 2+ years experience on an operationally-focused team in Website Operations, Application Support, or similar position OR Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience
  • Experience with application and service monitoring tools, such as Splunk, DataDog, Catchpoint, Cloudwatch, Dynatrace, etc.
  • Experience working with several teams on incident resolution in an efficient manner
  • Understanding of large-scale, sophisticated systems from a reliability perspective
  • Great communication skills and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment
  • Experience in scripting or coding is a plus (Python, R, JS, etc)
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) is a plus
