Product Manager III

Are you a customer-focused Product Manager looking for a high-impact role that will challenge you to build, test, and scale an high-caliber booking experience for travelers globally? Expedia Group's Marketplace team is looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager who is highly collaborative and passionate about solving sophisticated customer problems. You will get to work with partners across our Retail, eCommerce, and Payments teams to craft the future of the vacation rental booking experience across Vrbo and other key Expedia Group brands!

We are seeking candidates that have optimally launched worldwide, technology-enabled products or services with an emphasis on delivering an outstanding user experience and unlocking new customer value. Customer-focused, data focus, and comfort advocating for plans with partners at all levels are essential to success. You should be skilled at working across groups and coordinating project teams in a fast-paced environment and, above all else, championing the needs of your customers at every turn!

What you will do:

  • Know your customer: use data, trends, and research to learn and understand their problems, and work from there to resolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap of capabilities
  • Collaborate: Work across Product, Technology, User Experience Design, Business, and Operations teams throughout Expedia Group to drive alignment and execution of high-caliber products
  • Use data to tell stories: Measure and analyze performance data to find opportunities and sell your product vision
  • Be proactive: Identify and resolve strategic challenges and technical issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Be accountable: You will need to set goals, define results, develop timelines and achievements, and be responsible for executing against the plan

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated ability in product or program management
  • Experience in crafting or contributing to platform products, from conceptualization to launch and refinement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate multi-faceted issues and influence others internally and externally
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter who excels in fast-paced and fluid environments
  • Passion for big challenges and teamwork
  • Consistent record of delivering high-performing B2C products
  • Experience working in marketplaces
  • Experience working with customers and internal partners across global regions
  • Experience in product design and user research
  • Deep understanding of A/B Testing methodologies and practices
