Senior Product Manager

The mission of the Travel Experience Platform team is to enable best in class experiences powered by a highly extensible architecture. As part of the Travel Experience Platform Product team, you will be responsible for creating platform capabilities and tooling that enable teams across Expedia Group to create and build and operating outstanding product experiences that are desired by global travelers. You will ensure that key components within the travel experience platform support the needs of developers across EG, and you will produce amazing no code experiences for internal and external users to be able to configure and manage the experiences seen by travelers worldwide

In this collaborative, senior leadership role you will partner with other product teams, our Partner Team and Marketing Team to bring this product to market

What you'll do:
  • You will create a set of qualitative and quantitative measures to drive performance across an existing product area
  • You will mentor others to use decision frameworks and the process of linking data, knowledge, and insights together. Consider risks that will impact timing of decisions to ensure the most beneficial decision is made
  • You will generate new ideas for developing deeper customer insights (i.e. new research topics and methods, new data sources, etc.) including ways to better quantify insights and build/utilize feedback loops
  • You will own multiple, unrelated product areas
  • You will exhibit storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and partners and establish long-term relationships
  • You will work with numerous stakeholders to holistically define a complex problem space, desired customer and business outcomes and effective solutions

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Equivalent Experience; Technical degree preferred otherwise relevant experience is applicable
  • Strong Product Management experience owning multiple, unrelated product areas including developing the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plan
  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives
